Taylor Willever operates Blue Valley Riding Center in Pen Argyl, PA along side her parents Terry and Joni Willever, and sister, Hayley Colquhoun. The business is centered around Hunter/Jumper/Equitation lessons, training, showing and sales, plus some breeding.
As a young rider, Willever has accomplished a lot in in hunter world: “I started with multiple wins and championships throughout my junior career, which carried through to my amateur career at horse shows such as Devon, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International Horse Show, Kentucky National, Capital Challenge, Winter Equestrian Festival, and many others in the PA/NY/NJ/MD/VA areas. I turned professional after graduating from college in 2016. I have gone on to have championships and top placings at Devon, the USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships, Winter Equestrian Festival, and many more. I also have won and had many top placings over the years in National and International Hunter Derbies, and have been ranked high nationally and regionally.”
Why does Blue Valley Riding Center choose Poulin Grain?
“We have everything ranging from yearlings to 30 year old horses at our property. We have a lot of young imported Warmbloods, as well as ponies, Thoroughbreds, Draft crosses, and Quarter Horses. We wanted a feed that could satisfy a variety of needs and make our feeding simpler, which Poulin Grain does. We have noticed a dramatic improvement in all of our horse’s topline, weight, muscle, behavior, and gut health since feeding Poulin. All of our horses are thriving on it, including those with difficult dietary needs such as recurring colic and metabolic issues.”
